Event overview
Join Esperantists from the Midwest for a relaxed day in Northwest Indiana: a scenic bike ride followed by a picnic and plenty of conversation in Esperanto. All levels of Esperanto are welcome—come speak as you can!
Schedule (tentative)
- 11:00 AM – Meet-up, greetings, quick route overview, ride out
- ~12:30 PM – Arrive / settle in near the picnic area
- 1:00–3:00 PM – Picnic + Esperanto conversation
- After 3:00 PM – Optional short ride / beach time / hiking
What to bring
- Lunch / snacks to share (optional), water, sunscreen, layers
- A bike in good working order + helmet recommended
- Blanket or camp chair (optional)
Weather plan
If weather is unsafe or unpleasant (heavy rain, thunderstorms, high winds), the event will be postponed to Saturday, May 16, 2026 (same schedule).
